on the other hand - take away the frustration ..... and you must have read some, relaxed some, daydreamed some.... and that's quite a good day actually (regardless of lists and expectations!)
I did do part of two crosswords. Can't be underestimated. Am in Reading - come visit!
(btw...'Slim' was SLENDER, 'Yeast, say' was LEAVEN. The card game remains a mystery...And 'Hibernian' was Irish!)
Argh! We're rubbish! Slender obviously. Was the card game whist maybe?
No, it was 'ecarte' - a French card game :-(
