I like to add random lines to the chorus. So light your flag, so burn your flag, so lose your flag, so buy your flag, so steal a flag, so find a flag, so you can wave the flag, screw your flag, I hate your flag, no more flags, bad bad flags, ugly flags, etc.
Yup, heard it last night, it's used in an ad for Coke that is on TV *constantly* before and after matches. After the waving flag bit, it goes Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh-oh.
Fortunately Fine Music Radio doesn't play football songs. They did make some snarky remarks this morning about the bleak desolation of two whole days without any matches.
